We’ve received a ‘Cycling Friendly Community’ award from Cycling Scotland, the nation’s cycling organisation. The award recognises community groups across Scotland for their commitment to making it easier for more people to enjoy the benefits of cycling.
Killearn has been given a silver award in recognition of the range of initiatives that we’re developing to to encourage cycling… running a community ebike loan scheme; organising cycle training, led rides and route maps; arranging bike maintenance workshops and bike checks; championing safe cycling infrastructure, including installing bike racks; and building a cycling community.
