Cycling Killearn aims to promote cycling and build an inclusive, supportive cycling community in and around the village.
Our research identified that one of the biggest barriers to cycling is a lack of confidence on the bike and/or the road and limited knowledge of local routes.
So… we’ve launched a new initiative… Bike Buddies !
How does it work?
🚴♀️ We have a small group of volunteers who have completed Cycling Scotland's Ride Leader training.
🚴 A volunteer will ride with you, either one-to-one or in a small group, to help build confidence and introduce you to some of the local routes.
🚴♀️ It’s free! Visit Bike Buddies section of our website, complete the enquiry form and we’ll connect you up with a buddy. You can use your own bike or… perhaps you’d like to borrow a community e-bike?
